WebSep 10, 2014 · Tabitha Meals on Wheels serves more than 500 meals each and every day. Meals on Wheels provides a hot, nutritious noon meal to anyone in need in our community. For Elders, this assistance helps them maintain their independence while staying in their own homes longer. Tabitha needs help delivering meals on Saturdays and Sundays. WebMeals on Wheels People menus follow the Heart Health Diet, which is appropriate for most dietary needs, including those who need low-sodium, low-cholesterol or diabetic meals. Soft and vegetarian meals are also available. All menus are approved by a Registered Dietitian and meet 1/3 of the recommended daily caloric requirements.
